How to Use

Guidelines for Effectiveness

To get the most benefit from Ropark 2mg and minimize side effects like nausea and dizziness, strict adherence to your doctor’s instructions is required.

• Dosage: Take the tablet exactly as prescribed. Your doctor will likely start you on a low dose and gradually increase it (titration) to find the right amount for you.

• Timing:

  • For Parkinson’s: Usually taken three times a day.

  • For Restless Legs Syndrome: Usually taken once a day, 1 to 3 hours before bedtime.

• Administration: Swallow the tablet whole with water. It is highly recommended to take it with food to reduce the chance of feeling sick (nausea).

• Stopping the Medication: Never stop taking Ropark suddenly. Doing so can cause a serious worsening of symptoms (rebound effect) or a dangerous condition called Neuroleptic Malignant Syndrome. Your doctor will guide you on how to taper off the dose slowly.

• If You Miss a Dose: Take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is strictly close to the time for your next dose, skip the missed one. Do not take a double dose.
