Guidelines for Effectiveness

Consistent adherence to the dosage is critical to prevent a life-threatening clot, especially after a stent procedure.

• Dosage: Take exactly one 10 mg tablet daily, or as prescribed by your doctor.

• Timing: Take your dose at the same time every day.

• Administration: Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. It can be taken with or without food.

• Do Not Stop: CRITICAL. Never stop taking Prasita 10 mg abruptly, as this can dramatically increase your risk of a heart attack or stent thrombosis. Even if you feel healthy, continue taking it for the full duration prescribed by your cardiologist (often 6 to 12 months, or longer).
