• Has a Severe Milk Protein Allergy: Rotacaps usually contain lactose as a carrier, which may contain small amounts of milk proteins.

🧪 How to Use

Guidelines for Effectiveness

To get the most benefit from Duova Rotacaps, correct inhalation technique is vital. These capsules are for inhalation only and must not be swallowed.

• Dosage: The standard dose is typically one capsule inhaled once daily, using a specialized device like a Rotahaler or Revolizer.

• Timing: Use the medication at the same time every day to keep your airways open consistently.

• Administration:

  1. Place the Rotacap into the chamber of your inhalation device.

  2. Twist/Click the device to pierce or open the capsule.

  3. Breathe out fully (away from the mouthpiece).

  4. Place the mouthpiece in your mouth and breathe in deeply and forcefully.

  5. Hold your breath for about 10 seconds (or as long as comfortable) to let the medicine settle in your lungs.

  6. Check the capsule to ensure all the powder has been inhaled.

• Oral Hygiene: Rinse your mouth with water after each use to help prevent dry mouth and throat irritation.

• Device Care: Clean your Rotahaler/Revolizer regularly as per the manufacturer’s instructions to prevent powder buildup.

• If You Miss a Dose: Take it as soon as you remember. If it is nearly time for your next dose, skip the missed one. Never inhale two doses at once.
